The Green Party of Nassau County (GPNC) is the county organization of the Green Party of New York.

The GPNC endorses candidates and takes positions on ballot measures within the county, organizes around issues, and supports the development of Green candidates and Green local groups - all based upon the GPNY platform and Ten Key Values - applying them to issues in local communities.

The governing body of the GPNC is the Executive Board, elected by registered Greens every four years through Ranked Choice Voting. The Executive Board represents the GPNC within Nassau County, and selects county representation to the state Green Party (GPNY).

Green candidates have run in Nassau for nearly two decades for City Councils, Civil Court Judge, Comptroller, County Executive, New York State Assembly and Senate, Congress, Governor, Senate, and President.

The Green Party of Nassau County will keep the institutional memory of past campaigns and operational activities, and provide support for future Green Party work in Nassau County.
